I am relatively new to WNC and particularly Asheville. This part of the country rocks my face off! Oh the joys of the outdoor playground known as the Blue Ridge Parkway! I keep myself too busy with work, but aside from that I try to keep active with road biking, hiking, taking Molly(my black lab) for walks to chase squirrels, cotton tails, birds and whatever else will freak out and start running away. Family and friends are very important to me and where would I be without their advice and love. Never will I turn away a good meal, book or magazine, conversation, walk, microbrew with buddies, or day spent in downtown asheville drinking coffee and browsing the bookstores/boutiques/bike shops. Did I mention that I love to eat! Fav's include the always groovy Mellow Mushroom, Rosetta's, Hannah's (in Hendo of course), and Tupelo Honey.

Musical interests are all over the board. I am not a musician myself yet, but I have huge appreciation for all musicians and their talent and creativity. Some personal favorite bands/groups are: The Disco Biscuits, Yonder Mountain String Band, Thievery Corporation, STS9, the Police, Talking Heads, Jars of Clay, Alli Rogers, Caedmon's Call, U2, Neal Young, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, moe., Future Rock, Brother's Past, most anything Reggae, Bela Fleck, Jazz Mandolin Project, Jon Scofield, The Grateful Dead, Umphrey's McGee, Little Feat, Derrick and the Dominoes, John Butler Trio, Steve Kimmock, some psy-trance, and whatever else I can't think of right now.
