about Graeme
I was blessed 18 years ago to marry my beautiful wife, Lillian. God knows me perfectly and provided in her exactly the right characteristics to complement me. We have been entrusted by the Lord with four children, three boys and a little girl and are everyday both challenged and encouraged in raising them according to God's Word.

Although I am the Pastor of Haven Baptist Church, I also work full time to support my family. I work for a store called Natuzzi selling leather lounge furniture. Have a look at their website sometime, it's great stuff.
Denomination: Baptist
Church Involvement: Member
Leadership Involvement: Pastoral staff (senior, associate, assistant, youth, music, admin, etc.)

Graeme Newton's hobbies
From a sports perspective, I'm a keen Rugby League fan. Go the Warriors!! Can spend too much time watching the NRL on television. Have been through soccer and rugby phases in the past, but now watch very little sport other than League.
Musically, nearly anyone who knows me knows that I'm a Southern Gospel man through and through. I cut my eye teeth on Gold City, the Kingsmen, and the Singing Americans and have never looked back. Although the names and members of the groups may have changed, for a clear presentation of the Gospel and the hope that we have in song - you can't do any better! Had the awesome experience in '95 of travelling to Louisville, Kentucky for the National Quartet Convention. If you've got a moment one day, I'll show you my home video! Still collect CD's and concert DVD's when I can, but certainly have enough to keep me busy for now.
Is the League on yet?
I very much enjoyed reading the "Left Behind" series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B Jenkins. I haven't read the prequels or sequels but will get there one day. I also enjoy reading crime fiction, particularly Michael Connelly, Harlen Coben and recently have read Stephen White.
