I'm a weekend lead worshiper at my church (Bethany Presbyterian) and sometimes lead worship at events through Presbyterian-Reformed Ministries International (PRMI). In my day job, I work at Thornwell Home for Children in the administration. My job is complicated to explain, basically I help the Family Teachers (direct care staff who take care of the kids) do their job more effectively. I love the outdoors and usually stay pretty active - I go walking most days, go hiking whenever I get the chance, bike riding...unless it's pouring rain, I want to be out there doing something, enjoying God's awesome creation! I also love being involved with His people, especially in discipleship, encouragement, prayer ministry, intercession. And I can't forget missions! I got bitten by the "mission travel" bug on a trip to Honduras in 1994, and have made several trips to the Dominican Republic and Haiti, as well as London and Mexico. The DR has a big chunk of my heart, and one of my dreams is to go live there for at least a few months, maybe even retire there, and do whatever the Lord has for me to do.
