I'm studying poetry in the Indiana University M.F.A. in Creative Writing program. I graduated from Lee University in 2006, where I majored in English Education and French. I'm also an associate editor for Asheville Poetry Review, a literary journal with a considerable readership in the states and parts of Europe based in my hometown. My poems have appeared, or will appear shortly, in The Cortland Review, Marginalia Online, The Modern Review (Canada), Poetry Southeast, Southern Poetry Review, Verse Libre Quarterly, and in the anthology, Becoming Fire: Spiritual Writing from Rising Generations, among other places.
