I love God, I love my family, I love animals, I love people, especially the disadvantaged or hurting. And I LOVE to sing. I am a worship leader at a local non-denominational church in Asheville. I believe I was created for this purpose. It thrills me to witness others giving their hearts to God in worship, which looks different in so many ways, but is always a blessing to me. I love to read the Psalms (of course, what else!) and Psalm 145 has carried me through many heartbreaking nights over the past few years. I am devoted to serving the Lord and I put hope in the promise that He will protect me, prosper me and satisfy the desires of my heart. I am smart enough to surround myself with a few wonderful, wise friends who hold me accountable and expect the same from me. There is nothing on this earth like a friend you can trust to love you no matter what. Amen?

I'm working on my first solo CD project with the help of some of the best musicians in Asheville. It seems like I'm the only one in my band that doesn't have a completed album yet. I want to create a project that is all about committing your heart to God- even if your life does not yet reflect it. It may take all year, but at least I won't look back in a decade and kick myself for not following the dream and it will give me a good solid demonstration cd for auditions. I dream of singing at conferences all around the world someday.
