Garage Sale and Lemonade Stand
Sat, June 2nd, 2007 @ 12:35PM
Tonight Tiffany and I spent about 3 hours preparing for a garage sale that has been in the works with our neighbors for the about 2 months now. Of course we waited until the last minute and had to scramble to organize our junk into bins and on tables with price tags so we can easily move it out on to the drive way at 6:30am. Can you believe that we actually had people call us to tell us that they would be here at 7am sharp to look through all of our crap? I am pretty much insane for doing this, right? Weekends are way to precious to waste peddling old furniture, appliances, kids clothes, toys, etc. The one saving grace is that my son Drew who just turned five is going to embark on his first business venture. His lemonade stand will most definately be at hit.
My next post will be the details of our first "Garage Sale". I am expecting some classic interactions with veteran bargain hunters. Tomorrow should be a hoot.
