I love people - my family, friends, neighbors, and meeting new people. Most of all I love my new husband! He is amazing and so much fun to be with...
We both love the outdoors - hiking, camping, snowshoeing, running, biking - just about anything that takes us outside. We love the mountains - and are blessed to live in Asheville, NC with mountains surrounding us and tons of hiking trails. We love to travel the world. I have been fortunate to travel to many amazing places - my favorite three places are: Africa, India, and Italy.
Some other things I enjoy are: design, photography, and organizing (probably a little too much according to my husband).

My mom - she is one of the most amazing people that I know - I have been blessed by her more than any other person in my life. I do not know anyone else that is loved by more people than her - she has the unique ability to love others.
My husband - he has this amazing way of loving me like no one else can. Many times he knows what I'm thinking and how I feel before I even say a word - the best part he wants to know my thoughts. He exemplifies Christ's love like on one else does in my life - he loves me at times when probably no one else would - and he forgives me for things that no one else would forgive me for. I am so blessed to have him as my husband - God was good to me.
hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, running, biking, photography, reading, & most of all traveling the world
I enjoy listening to many kinds of music but music is definitely not my strength - that is one of the things I love about my husband is that he searches out new artists and introduces me to new music. I have a horrible time trying to name songs that I like and think of the artist that sings them...so I won't attempt to put any artists or songs here.
I enjoy most kinds of movies (comedies, drama, suspense) but especially the ones that make me think - the ones that provoke conversation. A couple of my favorites are: The Last King of Scotland, The Constant Gardener, The Usual Suspects, and Memoirs of a Geisha.
I don't watch a lot of tv but recently my husband got me into LOST - it is amazing. I caught up on the first few seasons on dvd. A great way to watch it - you don't have to wait a whole week for a new episode. But now that I'm caught up I have to watch week to week with everyone else. I also like LA Ink - it's a pretty fun show. They are amazing artists.
I enjoy reading...some of my favorites are Blue Like Jazz, Searching for God Knows What, The Journey of Desire, The Sacred Romance, Velvet Elvis, and Ragamuffin Gospel.
