I've recently transplanted to Charlottesville, Virginia, recently gotten married, recently left my job at Chapel Hill and am seeking another . . . again. (Some might say I'm a professional job-seeker.) Spending most weekends dating long distance hampered my research and writing a bit over the last year-and-a-half, so I'm hopeful about getting back to some of that work on C.S. Lewis and George MacDonald some weekend soon. I've semi-successfully gone off coffee in the meantime, so I'll have find a sufficient substitutional mainstay for my writing moments. I'll also have to investigate the fiddle scene in Charlottesville (is there even one??), all the while coaxing and convincing my new husband to move to Asheville in a year or so. It just may happen. Meanwhile, it's me and the computer up in Virginia, working words and working the job-search sites. Transition, ho! Always up for a new adventure . . .
