I was searching the grocery store for my rider so we could check out and get out of the grocery chore. I was turning the corner to the coffee aisle when I heard her voice. She was slightly bent over talking to a very elderly gentleman who had been cruising the store in one of the shopping choppers. He was explaining to her what he was looking for. He needed some green tea; he told her as the rascal tried to raise himself up from his seat to look on the shelf. It was his first time ever buying it and he wanted something simple because he had to make it himself. She interefered with his self-effort and moved a hanging strip that had some tea towels on it and told him she found the green tea in this box and it was in tea bags. "Yes, yes, that's what I need," he said as he shakily lowered himself down about 2 inches back into his seat. Then he tried to turn his stiff neck over his right soulder searching for her face as he said, "Thank you. Thank you very much."
I never know what I am going to learn in a day, but somehow Jesus always teaches me something about Him or the Father or myself even though I may be thinking that I am searching for something else.
