Philip Howie's profile

I've just started my fourth year as a student at Christ's College, the University of Cambridge studying Natural Sciences, specialising in Materials Science and Metallurgy. I plan to graduate this summer with BA and MSc degrees. When not in the lab I am a keen musician, playing flute, recorders, piano/keyboard, drums/percussion and several others!

I go to a Methodist church both in Cambridge and in my home town of Stockport. Music in worship is very important to me, and I'm heavily involved at both churches as a musician and as a trained worship leader. I play in or lead several different worship bands and ensembles, including the national MAYC Orchestra and Singers (flute) and the newly-formed Cambridge Christian Worship Orchestra (musical director).
