Sufjan Stevens, the Decemberists, Luxury, Starflyer 59, and music with meaningful lyrics. (I think music is powerful on its own, but coupled with a message it is twice as powerful.)
The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life by H.W. Smith; Desiring God by John Piper; Luke 7: 36-50; The Chronicles of Narnia. I also enjoy studying (in a mild sense) how the world will try to come together in a one world government according to Revelation. Paricularly the New World Order, and America's possible role in facilitating it. My ultimate reason for doing so is an active anticipation of the return of Christ. I also believe that this can be a tool to spur Christians to greater faith.
