Well, what to say...
I grew up in Carolina and Louisiana. I moved in with a house full of Christian when I was in my twenties and God used that to draw me to Himself.
Now, I live in Kyoto, Japan as a "vocational missionary"... it means I have a regular job in Japan but my reason for living here is a calling to share the Gospel... I guess you could call me a "weekend missionary."

Are ya gonna make me say it?... Yeah? OK...
Well as you might have guessed, Jesus...
Surprised?
Off the top of my head...
Paul, the Apostle
Hudson Taylor, Founder of China Inland Mission (now OMF International)
Jim Elliot, missionary to Ecuador; martyred in 1956
Jerry White, my former pastor in the States
And the first person to ever eat a blowfish... I mean it's popular in Japan but they're still poisonous... It's gotta taken some guts to do that the first time... OK, they don't make the top of my heroes list but they're on there somewhere.
I find most things interesting. Biggest problem is finding time to invest in it.
I guess maybe Japanese Language Study? ... Nah.
Glory Revealed, Shane & Shane, Warren Barfield, Casting Crowns, Parachute Band, Matt Redman, Third Day, Yukari Gospel, Ginny Owens, Tamauta...
On a different level, Medeski Martin and Wood, John Shofield, and Hiromi Uehara a good portion of "free jazz."
But for music to sleep or study to... mainly classical.
Yeah, I watch 'em.
Yeah, I have one.
