Suzanne Goering's profile

I attend First Baptist Church of Wheaton, Illinois, and Community Bible Study at Grace Point Naperville. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about their lives. I'd especially like to meet women who can share ideas for women's ministry, and even more specifically, mentoring moms of all ages.

My heroes are my parents, and those who boldly put their lives on the line for Jesus Christ around the world in the face of extreme hardship, persecution and even death. I also admire people who truly live out their faith with humility, kindness, compassion, and honesty and aren't about promoting themselves.

I love to read, gab with friends over coffee or while walking or biking, travel and explore new places, plan creative projects or activities, and hang out with my kids and husband. I also enjoy gardening, hiking, and floating down a river on an innertube. My favorite things are kids, dogs, mountains, chocolate, praise music, "kindred spirit" friends, sunsets, and a starry night far from civilization (not necessarily in that order).
I love the color green....trees, freshly cut grass, and even that blue-green shade of water in places like Greece or the Caribbean.
