I moved to Casa Grande, AZ in September of 2007 because both of my girls live here. I am enjoying the area so far. Right now my focus is on getting in good shape to go into the Grand Canyon in May with a group from church. It never ceases to amaze me how God works. I was really wanting to get into hiking and had no one to go with...didn't have a church home either...and it looks like he brought me both. So awesome is He!!!!
I love to volunteer around the community and be outside any chance I can get. Pretty soon that will be a challenge as it heats up here. I am from Michigan so maybe I'll head back there for a few months this summer to escape the heat and visit with my family.

Well, most of us say we'd like to meet Jesus in person, (I know we have already met him if we are saved ) but Wow it seems like it would be way too awesome and I might not even know what to say...like tongue tied...and that isn't really me, so I'll just wait for the live and in color meeting for when I get to heaven.
Otherwise, I guess I've never been much of a "Someone I'd like to meet kind of girl." I just try to meet people every day and find most of them interesting in some unique way. If someone comes across my path then I guess it is just a moment we get to share...even if I never see them again. I just want to have a positive experience with those along the path.

Hiking, photography, bike riding, reading, scrapbooking, travel, movies, outdoor concerts. I want to get into camping some time this year. I also enjoy working out at the gym 4-5 times a week. I recycle.
I enjoy listening to a variety of music from comtemporary christian to country...have you ever really listened to some of the words in country music...some of it is sooo good for a laugh. I enjoy the humor behind much of it. I sitll enjoy listening to some rock music from the 70's...takes me back :-)
I go to the movies about 1-2 times a month depending on what is showing. I love the big screen and of course the yummy, buttery popcorn. I always eat too much!
Well, since I retired I watch more TV than I have in the previous 20 years. I love my DVR so I don't have to be home to catch anything. Some of my favorites are:
House, Bones, American Idol ( I love Simon), The Big Give, Dr. Phil (some episodes), Oprah (some episodes), LOST, 24, The Newlyweds, Men in Trees and Barney (with my granddaughter only).
