You could use Livekite for your small group, bible study group, business, ministry, or mission. Any group that can exist in the real world can exist virtually on Livekite.
First, you need to join Livekite.
Next, click on [Dashboard]- It will be the second button in the site’s top navigation after you sign in. Then, scroll down your dashboard page about halfway and look for the [My Groups] box which includes a link titled, [Create]. Click on that link.
Fill in your group’s title, group link, primary category, and sub-category. Once you’ve made these selections just click [create group]. The next page you see will be the Group managers view of your new group page.
To complete the set-up process, click on [edit group info] button on the upper-right side of this page, and determine the privacy levels for your new group. Once you’re done with this you are done setting up your group!
You are automatically made leader of the group that you create.
While looking at your group managers view, click on [Invite People].
Use the first pull-down menu to choose who you would like to invite to your group. Click [send invite].
If your group members are not yet members of Livekite, click [invite] on the top navigation bar. You can email everyone in your group from this screen to let them know that you have started a group on Livekite.com.
Your group can be private or public.
If ‘private’ is your choice, people can only see the group activity and participate if they join. If you go with ‘public’, anyone can see what the group is doing without being a members.
When you set up your group, you will have a menu of choices to decide exactly what will work best for your group, and you can always change these settings later if you desire. To change privacy settings, go to your group managers view and click on [edit group info]. From there you can change your group privacy, open join, and open posting settings. Click [save] and you are finished.
Whos actually in charge of the group? What if there are problems?
If youre the group leader, you are! You set the rules if you start the group.
If people violate the group rules in any way, you have the right to communicate with them directly or even to expel them from the group.
