I have posted a new topic on God, Prayer and Technology. Is god limited by our current knowledge? I think so... as I feel god is made in our image, therefore he has to abide by our current level of technology. Read on and comment! There are scores of silent members that need to be heard. L

Is God limited by our current knowledge? Well, let me see... The definition of God (from the Random House unabridged dictionary) is "The one supreme being, the creator and ruler of the universe."

Certainly if God were limited by our current knowledge, then by definition He could not truly fit the definition of God at all. However, if you're talking about a god whom you've pulled together to fit your life and to affirm your importance, then that's not really a god—that's just you. So, if you are your own god, i would definitely say that god is limited by anything above or beyond your own level of knowledge. And the day you die will be the same day that your god dies. Abandon him now—he'll be no help.

But if you are talking about (even in theory) an actual God—one who knows more than any of us, without whom none of us can know anything—i bet He is not limited by our knowledge.

Your question defeats itself.

—Hey Lance, how are you doing? sorry i haven't been commenting lately. the summer has been busy.
