Mon, May 5th, 2008 @ 11:17AM

Friends-

Please take a look at the following job description and forward to anyone you think might be qualified OR anyone who might KNOW someone who is qualified.

Asheville is a wonderful place to live. But people in Asheville are often complaining about the lack of high-quality jobs available here. Well, here is a great-quality job?we just need some applicants to match. We've developed several jobs here and we hope to be developing many more in the future!

Thanks!

Are you curious about what will happen with Google's new OpenSocial initiative? So are we.

We are looking for an energetic PHP developer with expert level skills. The project is a social networking site for a Christian clientele. Our lead developer will be in charge of the technical direction of the project and help develop and lead a development team when the time is right.

The lead application developer will design, develop, maintain and optimize secure and scalable multi-tier web applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in object-oriented and procedural programming and understand when each is appropriate in a web environment.

The selected candidate will need to live in Asheville, NC currently, or be willing to relocate. Asheville has been ranked one of "Ten Great Adventure Towns" by National Geographic Adventure magazine, as well as AmericanStyle's #2 "Top 25 Arts Destinations" and AARP Magazine's "Top 15 Dream Towns." A small city of only 69,000, Asheville has something for everyone!

If interested, please send a resume and cover letter to info@livekite.com.
