Paul is such an inspiration! This letter to the faithful folks in Philippi has such great direction for spiritual living. I have been trying to soak in all the great stuff, and every time I read a verse for the 2nd or 3rd time, something else jumps out at me. Has anyone else had this type of reaction? Erik |

Erik, Thanks for sharing,,,I will add a few thougths from last night'ss discussion and then send an email to invite others to join in. Philippians Chatper 1 I wanted to follow up from our discussion last night regarding suffering and living as one body in partnership with the gospel. Paul encourages us to consider it a privelege to suffer for Christ. How does this become reality in our lives? What are we to practically do with this? Also, he encourages the church at Philippi to stand as one or side by side in the partnership with sharing and living the good news of Christ. Do you fully understand that this faith journey is about being connected as one body, one community living out the faith together? What are some practrcal steps that we need to take to deepen our commitment and our connection with one another- not for our purpose but for the purpose of reaching out to others? How does your individual faith journey affect the rest of the Journey community? and Will realilzing this change your commitment or your approach to faith? |
