Topic: Who's Your Boss?

Are you working for man? for money? or for God?

When we work for man we are trying to please a supervisor, a co-worker, a relative, or a friend. Our career choice, and the things we do at work, reflect the wants and desires of these people.

When we work for money, our expenses are such that we must make our job decisions purely in terms of financial gain. We can get into a make more, spend more cycle that wreaks havoc with our life.

When we work for God we understand that our 'work' must be a reflection of Him. This is the path to workplace bliss.

As for me...I have worked for all of the above. I now work for God, but I still get tempted by the world's view of work. How about you?

"Unless the Lord builds the House,
the builders labor in vain." Psalms 127:1
