I mean does any one HAVE $90,000? We are pleased to announce that we currently have enrolled 14 students!!! This is tremendous. We now need to be able to provide for the needs of our burgeoning little urban school. If anyone would like to contribute or has ideas about fundraising please pass them along to us. Thank you. One fundraiser that our school did turned out to be a great time. We did a Tutorfest where we had our volunteers find sporsors for a Saturday day-long tutoring event. We had our students come and we tutored them, played some football at the park, had time for board games etc. It was a good way to spread the word about the school, have fun with our kids in a relaxed environment, and raise about $3000. |
