Hey, has everyone heard of the Echo Base Project? This music festival is coming to the ATL area Oct.12-14th and has an amazing lineup--Spoon, Michael Franti & Spearhead, the Killers, Flaming Lips, Trey & Friends, the Roots, Moe, Thievery Corporation, Son Volt and about 30 other killer bands. This is an Earth Friendly Festival designed to promote energy conservation, alternate energy, etc. My only issue is I already have tickets to see Ryan Adams & the Cardinals on Sunday at the Fox. You have to buy a three day pass and I just can't commit yet to that. Check out the site, if you haven't heard of this festival. Pretty impressive. |

My friend Josh promotes this festival- it is wicked cool. Another friend of mine who is a poet performs there also- it's not limited to music! |
