The Bakers are Stuart and Elizabeth Baker. Stuart Writes the songs, Elizabeth pays the bills. We live in Asheville, NC, and just released our first full length album, "Transaction."
Mr. and Mrs. Baker have had three children:
Nathan, the oldest, plays bass!
Owen, the middle child, plays drums!
Mike, the baby, plays guitar!
The Baker Family Band will perform songs written by all its members. That means Mike and Owen will get to sing some of their songs, and Nathan too!

Okay.. I love the song about there being a couple couches (drawing a blank on the title). Truly love it. I'm a bit in the dark, though, about what happened "when his shirt came off" that negated the narrator's self confidence. Pec envy? An ugly tattoo? A hideous scar? The rest of the song is reasonably literal so I don't think I'm missing any symbolism..
