Stipe

Stipe is named after Derek and Kevin Stipe's stongest common bond. Their last name. After discussing some more original names including ScissorFight and RiskyBiscuit (?), the guys decided to leave the creativity to songwriting. Originally representing 50% of a nationally touring band, the two have moved on to form a less amplified act. These brothers (yes, brothers Laura) from WNC now make Asheville their home and their city of choice for performing. Planning on recording/releasing a new album in 2008, (if we stop playing Halo 3) Stipe is busy writing original material, and playing for LivekiteLive events... like this...
